The Afghanistan war was launched in 2001 with the United extracts having the output hold of United Kingdom and other allies, invaded the country to discard the Taliban regime. Iraq ha d been a bone of contention for the US after Saddam ibn Talal Hussein fell out of its favour. In 2002, the US State relative authorized the president to use force if necessary to unarm Iraq. But the US failed to gather support from the UN, where Russia, mainland China and France had contrary the UNSC resolution that was pushed at using force against Iraq.
